Simply put, 2A Commerce is pro-American. Our company was born out of the basic principles our constitutional rights bestowed upon us. Unlike other payment solutions, we will never discriminate against you even if we disagree with you – because this is what it means to be American.
This means no matter your political or social ideology, we will never discriminate against you, and we will never shut down your commerce engine. Our business exists to serve All Americans. As a veteran-owned company, we know and understand firsthand what it means to defend and uphold our American values. We intend to carry this tradition in our business. Our pursuit is to operate our company with the tenacity, discipline, consistency, and technical creativity of the US Navy Submariner.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
The First Amendment is a Right
Our founding fathers were not perfect but they certainly sought to be the best version of themselves and to create the most harmonious relationship between a government and its citizenry when writing the constitution. It is acknowledged in the first sentence of the preamble of our Constitution that its very existence is for the purpose of creating a “more perfect union.” The leading method of establishing a more perfect union was and remains the first amendment.
Sadly, big tech companies are leveraging their assets to attack and shut down voices on both sides of the aisle if the message doesn’t align with the subjective values of the moderator. This has even happened to our own company. A simple search (we recommend DuckDuckGo) will reveal that the companies listed below are just a few who are guilty of violating our first amendment rights. We will never do this.
• Facebook profiles are being shut down.
• YouTube channels are being demonetized.
• Instagram profiles are being shadow banned.
• Twitter accounts are being suspended.
• Shopify commerce platforms are being shut down.
We understand gun rights and ownership is an uncomfortable topic for some. But we also believe that feelings don’t trump a person’s liberties. We are well-versed on both sides of the argument, and frankly, we believe there is a reason the Second Amendment is number two and that its importance is as relevant today as the day it was written. It is the amendment that ensures the existence of the first and all others that follow.
Sadly, we don’t talk much about the importance of how context derives meaning and the difference between authorial intent and the reader’s response. Instead, we live in a world of sound bites, subjective interpretation, void of context, and spin. Even in the preamble by way of “common defense,” the founders were contextually setting the stage for the importance of the second amendment’s existence. Below are some of the mechanisms that big tech and the politicized financial systems are attacking this right. We will never do this.
• DOJ pressuring to shut down gun store financing.
• Payment processors are shutting down accounts.
• Commerce Platforms shutting down entire web stores.
• Local governments are enacting municipal code that violates second amendment rights.
• Restrictive firearm licensing schemes in all but 16 states.
